Under the feminist theory, pornography is a tool used by men to maintain
a culture of male domination and female subordination. It presents women
as whores and as willing recipients of sexual abuse and violence.
Frequent exposure to degrading pornography will lead men to treat women
as sex objects who enjoy pain or humiliation and lead to the
discrimination and violence against women in society. Therefore, the
government has a duty to censor pornography of any kind to protect women
from violence.
